TATTOO ARTIST COURSE SUBJECTS
The courses offered by the Tattoo Tattoo Academy in our tattoo studios cover all aspects 0f tattooing. Our master tattooist will cover the basics as well as many other aspects of tattooing. All the secrets of tattooing will be covered on this comprehensive course. The following list is just a few of the subjects covered in this in depth course.
1- History and traditions of Tattoos.
This covered in the course introduction and includes the development of old school and new school techniques.
2- Tattoo equipment list.
After completing your course you need to go off and buy all the necessary equipment and consumables so this list saves lots of time.
3- Tattoo Art technique.
We cover all tattoo styles and themes and artistic techniques.
4- Operational technique – Tattoo aftercare.
Aftercare is of vital importance.
5- Tattoo Traces / Stencils.
Printing stencils and developing stencils are of vital importance to doing a good tattoo. If you start of with a poor trace you will end up with a poor tattoo.
6- Tattoo Machine construction & adjustments.
Your tattoo machine is critical to you earning a living so we spend a fair amount of time earning all its parts, how it works and how to adjust it for optimum performance.
7- Tattoo Outline technique.
There are 3 main outline techniques which we study to produce a wide range of effects and tattoo styles
8- Black & gray shading.
After applying good outlines to your tattoo the next most important part is applying smooth shading to create depth and contrast to your tattoo.
9- Tattoo Color technique.
Very few tattoo artists are good at color tattoos. The main reason is they overwork the skin trying to get the ink in. We show you how to get full color effortlessly.
10- Tattoo cover-up.
Good coverups is an art of its own and we will cover all aspects os covering unwanted tattoos.
11- Tattoo Ink Color mixing & theory.
One option would be to by hunderds of different inks, but a good artist can mix thousands of different hues with a 10 bottle set.
12- Practical lab.
The most important part of our course is practical hands one experience, we have hundreds of volunteers waiting for our students to practice on them.
13- Magnum Shaders
The art of tattooing cannot be achieved without learning how to master the magnum shader
